Manager CommentsThe Bennelong Emerging Companies Fund rose 4.78% over the month of October against the ASX200 Accumulation Index's 1.93%. Since inception in November 2017, the Fund has returned 26.91% p.a. against the Index's 4.09%. The Fund's up-capture ratio of 362.5% since inception highlights its capacity to significantly outperform in rising markets. These returns have been achieved with higher volatility than the market, as would be expected of a Fund investing in micro and small cap companies.

Bennelong noted that despite the inevitable ups and downs of the market in the short term, they believe the portfolio's investments are all incrementally building value. The portfolio remains reasonably diversified across sector and risk-return drivers.
