Bennelong Australian Equity Partners (BAEP) is a boutique fund manager focused on Australian equities. It was founded in 2008 in partnership with Bennelong Funds Management. BAEP is a genuinely active fund manager with a consistent, disciplined and proven investment approach. BAEP's investment philosophy is to selectively invest in high quality companies with strong growth outlooks and underestimated earnings momentum and prospects.
On 16 September 2026, Antipodes Partners, an affiliate of Pinnacle Investment Management, entered into a binding agreement to acquire Bennelong Funds Management Group. Further updates will be provided as more information regarding the transaction and any resulting business changes becomes available
The Bennelong Emerging Companies Fund invests primarily in small- and micro-cap ASX and NZX securities, including certain permitted pre-listing opportunities. As these stocks are often less well known and researched, BAEP aims to be disciplined in focusing on higher quality and lower risk options that they believe have solid growth prospects.
