The manager offers investors exposure to agricultural mortgage-backed private credit through a diversified fund structure, as well as direct participation in selected transactions through a contributory fund. |
Fund/Strategy Overview:
FarmCap Private Credit Agricultural Mortgage Fund provides wholesale investors with exposure to agricultural mortgage-backed loans in Australia. The fund writes loans to Australian farmers and agricultural sector participants, secured by registered first and second mortgages over agricultural or rural real estate, with independent valuations, general security agreements and personal guarantees typically required. Loans are intended to have deal sizes of $200,000 to $15 million and terms of 6 to 24 months, with maximum LVRs of up to 65% for first mortgages and 70% for second mortgages. FarmCap seeks diversification across loan size, duration, region, location and commodity sector, including broadacre, irrigated cropping, livestock, dairy, horticulture and viticulture. Each loan is subject to due diligence, investment committee approval and ongoing management. Note: Current average weighted LVR is 50%. |
